I
visited Lowestoft beach (the location of our music video) with my stills
camera, and focused on aspects which are in our video:
·
Beach
Huts
·
Arcade
·
Sea
·
Beach
·
Sun
Setting
·
Seagulls
As
I want the inside of my album cover to have a panorama effect, I completed some
of these images at the beach. As I am the lead character in the music video, I found
it hard to produce images with myself in, but I managed to work through it with
a tri pod and the timer setting. But as our video is a montage, I don’t want to
primarily focus on my character, but the surroundings and location, regarding my
print productions.
After studying my images, I thought it best to analyse each one and discuss the positives and negatives, and decide whether I need to produce more images with the same idea.
Once studying my panorama images, I came to the conclusion that the shots were more professional looking when I was not in the image, as I could direct the image properly. I think that they were well presented in the fact of identifying location, however I feel that the image could include that of a boat, as the song is called 'Boat Song', so as a result I have decided to do another shoots, at the boating broads which some of mine and Annas music video was shot. Also I would like to try out Panorama shots in the sunset.

Your shots are very impressive and would be strong possibilities for panels 2 & 3 in your digipak. The second one is excellent. The tractor marks are signs of a big clear up after the December storm surge. You could mention this in your evaluation.
ReplyDeleteFantastic work Zoe. Getting a shot of a boat would be useful. There are fishing boats in Cromer by the Café which looks over the beach to the right of the pier when facing the sea.
