Anna and I decided that the use of headphones would be a
fantastic idea to introduce the song, and appeal to the target market. Our
first aim was for the song to begin by playing out of the headphones, and once
they entered the characters ears the song began to play properly (making the
audience feel they have just put headphones in themselves). However this was
too hard and complicated for us to do in such a short space of time, so we
decided that our character should put the headphones in just as the lyrics
began. Foals - My Number is a good example, of the transition of distant music
to that of straight in the ears. But I feel that Clean Bandit - Rather Be is a
perfect example of what Anna and I are trying to portray.
A helpful and post which will be very useful when you come to do your evaluation and external examinations which are about aspects of your coursework.
