Foster The People are an American Indie band, who formed in Los Angeles, California (2009). The groups music is described as melodic dance - infused pop and rock. The group's single 'Pumped Up Kicks' became a viral success in 2010, resulting in them receiving a record deal, and gaining a fan base through small club shows and festival appearances. I have chosen to research the relevance of genre within one of Foster The People's music videos, this is because of the fact that Jungle Doctors are in the indie genre also.
