Question 1

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

  1. Promising thus far. You link your production and real music videos very strongly to media theory. I like the way you include vintage photographs of the seaside, this is very interesting.

    One or two possible revisions:

    1) Take out the visual references to Gilda unless you use this under a different heading. I suggest instead of including references to Goodwin under the section on narrative you instead make another heading "Media Language" and here reference your representation of gender as non voyeuristic in that you haven't objectified the female performer but instead represented the girl as reflective and independent. Leaving the audience (as you say so well) to make up their own minds about her thoughts

A pleasure to mark and reflecting the enormous progress you have made with understanding media concepts. Well done Zoe. A strong Level 3 and could go to Level 4.
    .

Don't forget to also include print productions in this answer.

    1. I have added further slides, if you could take a look that would be helpful. I have a slide on print productions left to do

  2. Well done Zoe, you have evaluated your choice of layout clearly and appropriately.

    To strengthen:

    1) re you magazine advert you could post an real advert for the release of an album and explain how you have either used, developed or challenged the conventional layout.

Well done, I am very pleased with your progress.
